Our show at Church of Boston was a blast. We had the pleasure of playing with Spectral Bats, Lesser Knowns, and Kim Boekbinder from NYC- all of whom we’re inspired by. Much appreciation to Jason from Illegally Blind for helping us put this night together.
We played an extended set that covered most of our songs as well as some we had written that week! At the end of our set, we invited our friend Mike from Spectral Bats to join us from an impromptu jam session. He adds really nice counter melodies to the songs. And we invited our friends and the crowd to come up, there was some spontaneous dancing on Snake Soiree. Here’s a video playlist from the show. Be sure to add us on Youtube and Facebook to be the first to get the latest news. -Abby & Paz
After a year of intense work, and multiple moves backwards and forwards, we can finally say that we are close to completion. And we are going to celebrate!! Our EP release party is on July 31st at Club Church and is featuring our best buddies from Spectral Bats and Lesser Knowns. Also on the bill, the incredible “impossible girl” Kim Boekbinder. I also heard Abby is making a cake—> let’s see how it turns out haha. In any case it’s going to be fun, hot (i mean the weather) We will also hand out CDs. And this is the first one, so cheers!! Bisous et pop and roll!

This weekend we played Do617’s Last Call Series at Brighton Music Hall and it was an incredible night. The sound at the venue was great and they even had skeeball!! Here’s part of our setlist including some songs from the upcoming EP: “Waves, After School, Occulous” and beyond: “Choices”. We thought it was over but were asked for one more, so we played a special version of Snake Soiree!
The staff all around was really friendly from the Do617 people to Brighton Music Hall. Plus the Goose Island beer was the real deal. We both love beer haha but who doesn’t in Boston? And the whole thing was on point which is rare to see for a big event. A special thanks to Michael Marotta for playing our songs on Vanya Radio and booking us for the Animal Talk ep release. That was pretty sweet. We’ll be collaborating with the DJs and keyboard players we played with too which you’ll probably hear in the future. Here’s some pics from the show:
We’re really looking forward to playing our next show: Animal Talk’s EP Release Party with DJ Moe Pope at Brighton Music Hall on April 19th! It’s part of the Last Call series sponsored by Do617, Goose Island, and Vanyaland. Get your tickets early because it’s a FREE event! To enter, create a profile and RSVP at www.Do617.com
We’ll be playing 2 new songs and there might even be a synth duet. See you there!:)
